Sol Tracker

2009   Sol Tracker, dichroic glass, aluminum and stainless steel, 50’ x 50’ x 25’.

This sculpture takes full advantage of a three story atrium space with a southern exposure. The forms consist of two opposing thirty foot long aluminum tubes that twist throughthe space. Connected to them are cables holding dichroic glass “leaves”. These leaf forms project and reflect changing color patterns as the sun transits.
