The curving forms and colorful glass are in response to a unique and vibrant architectural space. After modeling several ideas, I settled on a sculptural association with the second floor balcony curves, at the north end of the second floor gathering area known as the Learning Landscape. At this position, the suspended cable tension sculpture is visible from the north entrance and the intersecting hallways of the multipurpose room (west), the commons room (east) and the south entrance, as well as the north stairs and floors above, at night it will be visible from the main campus walkway.
